Joint personnel under the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate and TNI conduct security, supervision, and action against two-wheeled drivers who make contra flow on several roads in Jakarta.

This action will begin on February 22 and will be applied regularly twice a day in the morning and evening to ensure smooth and orderly traffic.
Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said the action took place from 7.30 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 6 PM in several locations in Jakarta.

On the first day, a total of 144 two-wheeled vehicles were recorded as contra flow and action was taken. Personnel took action by imposing BAP (ticketing) on two-wheeled vehicle drivers to create a deterrent effect.
It was focused on Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Jalan Johar, Jalan Kebon Sirih Timur Dalam, and Jalan Blora. Some 30 two-wheeled vehicles did contra flow.
In the afternoon, as many as 114 vehicles were ticketed by the police with the following location:

Hopefully, it could foster awareness and discipline in traffic through compliance with traffic signs, directions, and traffic officers in a bid to create smoothness, security, and safety on the road.
